Sunclock v1.3.11 J2ME *updated*






Sunclock is a J2ME Midlet that displays a map of the Earth and indicates the illuminated portion of the globe by drawing sunlit areas dark on light, night areas as light on dark. In addition to providing local time for the default timezone, it also displays up to four additional cities on the map with the local times also. The map updated every minute to follow the movement of the earth.

Using the Setup menu you can choose the cities according to your interest. You have to specify the correct timezone values relative from GMT and the integer WGS-84 coordinates of the cities to display them on the map. Thus most of the current phones do not supports the timezone settings, the localtime will be calculated based on the Main City setup and the internal phone clock will be interpreted as a timezone corrected local time value according to the Main City timezone selection.

Nothing especially, just to briefly inform you that there is another shaker on the horizon, Damian’s MagicLock, definitely the simplest shaker so far that provides just a one very basic feature, phone locking and that's pretty much all the app does, but it does it well.​

Sure someone will say it is the rip-off as there already few shakers with same or similar functionality but for end users it is always good to have an option and few solutions to choose from.​

MagicLock is indeed a little bit different as it is focused on locking only while ShakeLock provides the lock and unlock functionality​

Melodis Corporation, a company based in Sunnyvale, California, announced the releases of midomi mobile, an innovative music search engine for Symbian S60 mobile phones.

The new application allows you to find music by singing, humming or whistling into your phone the song you want to download. The search engine accesses midomi's online music database and uses Melodis Corporation's patented MARS (Multimodal Adaptive Recognition System) to identify the song you searched for. Since its launch, back in January 2007, the midomi database has become one of the largest online music databases, so users will basically get any song they want. In addition to finding music tracks, midomi mobile also allows users to find music videos, playable on handsets via services like YouTube.

The free, membership-based online midomi community can be accessed from both desktop and mobile browsers and it's a popular social-networking destination that provides a forum for music lovers, talent seekers or amateur and professional musicians.
