Registration method :

1.Register with the serial generated by the given keymaker. ( Enter your IMEI in the "Owner name" box and press Enter )​

2.Exit the application.​

3.Restart the app.​

4.It will ask for online authentication check. Press no and exit.​

5.Copy host file from hosts1 folder to c:\private\10000882\hosts
(This folder does not exists on c drive , so just create it)​

6.Turn platform security ON.​

7.Restart app with internet connection available ( wifi or gprs )​

6.After checking a message will show authentication successful.​

7.After this you can use it forever. It will never check again.​

8.If authentication fails by hosts1 file , use hosts2 file.​

On the other hand , after step 4, you can install the host.sis file in phone memory. Then you can restart app and go for online authentication check.

I've read that LCG had blocked the authentication check even if you have bought the app you won't be able to connect to their server!

My'Sound Music Player Beta 3​

r4ph43l has kindly informed us through the forum section that My'Sound music player has reached 'Beta 3' stage and its very first public version!

It is still not final version but player is now a step closer to the final shape and out of the closed beta testing period. Few moths after its initial release software is finally available for free download so anyone can get it, test it, report bugs and and suggest eventual improvements.

My'Sound is a brand new, useful and powerful music player which pretends to offer a better way to enjoy in your phone’s music library. It completely ignores the boring Nokia User Interface Guidelines and offering a user interface that is focused on the music itself

How install My'Sound (beta 3.0)?

* If beta 2 or beta 2.x is already install :
1. Sign and install the signed versions of "mysound_c_v0_3_0_unsigned.sis" and "mysound_d_v0_3_0_unsigned.sis" . It's finish!
* If no version is still installed
1. Extract the folder .zip you have receive (Right clic >> Extract all)
2. Sign the files "mysound_c_v0_3_0_unsigned.sis" and "mysound_d_v0_3_0_unsigned.sis"
3. Copy the folder "msfiles" to the root folder on memory card (or memory mass for N95 8Go)
4. If the last version of Python is not yet installed on your phone, install it with the file "PythonForS60_1_4_4_3rdEd.sis"(memory card or phone memory)
5. Change the mobile date to 25/09/2006.
6. Install "pys60-3rd-elementtree-v0.20060925.sisx".
7. Change the mobile date again to the correct one (today)
8. Install versions signed of "mysound_c_v0_3_0_unsigned.sis" and "mysound_d_v0_3_0_unsigned.sis"
9. If you want : sign "envy_3rd_1_0_2_unsigned.SIS" and install his version signed. This application is used to not quit application with the red key (cf settings)
10. Use My'Sound!
* If My'Sound beta 1 is installed : uninstall completely My'Sound beta 1 (cf bottom) and install completely My'Sound beta 3.0

How obtain a complet version of My'Sound?
To use complet version of My'Sound, you must make a donation of 3€ (or more), and write activation code in My'Sound.

How uninstall My'Sound?
Steps to take to make a clean uninstall :

1. Go to Applications manager in the phone (Tools menu generaly)
2. Uninstall "My'Sound"
3. Uninstall "Lists"
4. Uninstall "envy"
5. Uninstall "Python for S60" if you want (other applications use python, you can keep this application)
6. Close Applications manager and open File manager
7. Go to memory card and remove folder : "msfiles" (that contains themes and application settings)
