Advanced viewsYou can access views that show advanced information about your device from "Views" menu or by pressing middle toolbar button. There are Processes, All open apps, and Installed apps views:

* Processes - shows all active processes. Allows to get information about them and terminate any 3rd party process. Ending any system process is not allowed. System processes are the ones that supplied and configured by the device vendor (in firmware).
* All open apps - shows the view similar to Open applications view but it also shows all hidden applications
* Installed apps - shows all installed applications on your device. Allows you to get various information about these apps as well.


SettingsUsing application settings you can override the default application behavior and customize it to fit your needs.

* "Taskman activation" - If it is set to "Instead of built-in one" then Best Taskman will replace the built-in task manager when you long press Menu key. If it's set to 'Custom key' then both Best TaskMan and the system taskman can work at the same time.
* "Activation hotkey" - Visible only when Taskman activation is set to 'Custom key'. It allows you to define a hotkey to pop up Best TaskMan from background.
* "Autostart Taskman" - if enabled TaskMan will be automatically started in background when the system starts

Y-Browser is a free filemanager application designed for S60 Symbian smartphones. All testing is done with Nokia S60 devices only, but it should work as well with other manufacturers S60 smartphones.

Currently Y-Browser only supports S60 mobile phones. No plans to support for earlier edition S60 or UIQ mobile phones are planned.

This example demonstrates how to use the image conversion APIs available in the S60 platform (Image Conversion Library, ICL). These APIs include important classes, such as CBitmapRotator and CBitmapScaler to be used for rotating and scaling images, respectively. CImageEncoder and CImageDecoder classes are used to access image encoders and decoders available in the ICL. With this example an image can be opened either from the device memory or a memory card (if present). Once opened, the image can be rotated, scaled, and saved in the same or a different format (for example, a JPG image can be converted into a GIF image). The UI of the updated application has been optimized for touch. For example, long taps and tactile feedback are supported. The example project supports building for both S60 5th Edition with touch UI and S60 3rd Edition with a traditional keypad. Important classes: CAknLongTapDetector, MTouchFeedback, CBitmapRotator, CBitmapScaler, CImageEncoder, CImageDecoder, CFbsBitmap, CAknQueryDialog.

Car Pack is a software tool designed to be used inyour car when you are driving. It has specially settings which allows you an easy use of the phone while you have to keep your attention on the road while driving the car. For example,when you get up in your carand plug-in the car charger, the Car Pack service is automatically enabled. If you receive an incoming call, the service will automatically answer the call and will activate the loudspeaker so that you just simply talk without to touch the phone. The Car Pack service comes also with extensive settings like Backlight always on - for the best screen visibility, Anykey-answer/reject, Mute ringing tone and more.​

Key features.​

Auto-answer will automatically answer an incoming call after a specified period.You have just to keep driving and the phone will auto-answer. You can also answer the call as normally/by hand.
Counter-down. A big digital counter-down is shown on screen in the auto-answer mode showing the seconds left until the call will be automatically auto-answered.
Auto-reject will automatically reject an incoming call after a specified period. A big digital counter-down is shown also during the incoming call.
Auto-reject with SMS will automatically reject an incoming call and will send a SMS text to the remote caller.
Activate Loudspeaker. After the call is answered (normally by hand or automatically) the call voice Loudspeaker is automatically activated so you can hear the remote caller in the car's cockpit without to touch the phone. You have just to keep driving and you can talk with your remote party. (similar like a car-kit device).
Backlight always active. If set on Yes, the backlight of the screen will be always active/on for the best visibility in the car. The screen lights will never go off as long as the service is started. The keypad is also keept unlocked for easy use of the phone.
Mute ringing tone. If you receive an incoming call, the ringtone will be muted if you do not want to be disturbed by its sound while driving.
Ankey-answer and Anykey-reject. You can answer or reject an incoming call by simply pressing any key on the keypad. (not only the RED or GREEN keys).
Mute microphone. This setting can mute the microphone if a call is auto-answered. It is useful if a call is auto-answered but you did not see this, so the remote caller can not hear you; but you can hear him.
Charger control. The Car Pack service can be automatically enabled when you get up in the car and plug-in the phone compatible car charger.
Show icon. An icon indicator will be shown in the top of the screen indicating the Car Pack service is enabled. ​

Notes: ​

When the Car Pack service is enabled you can use the phone as normally. It does not disturb your actions but will react as per your settings.
The Car Pack service will not block the Handsfree bluetooth device if you use one. You can answer and talk normally from your Handsfree device.
to use the Car Pack you only need to enable it when you get up in the car. You can do this either using the charger plug-in or enabling the service from the main menu.
the Car Pack can coexist with a car-kit device if you use one. It can even totally replace the functionality of an expensive car kit.​
