Yahoo has released a native Symbian application which puts a shortcut to its oneSearch service on the Idle screen of your phone(N70, N95, N73, 6120, and E65). The stand out feature is Search Assistthat suggests terms and phrases as you go and aims to save you time andprovide related concepts for more refined results.
oneSearch Shortcut is accessed by pressing the pencil key on the idle screen. Entering a few letters will ten activate the Search Assist features. In the screenshotbelow you can see I've started to enter 'bb' and the software hasstarted suggesting various BBC services (exactly what I was lookingfor).
Search Assist is particularly beneficial on a mobile device where text entry speed is somewhat restricted. In my tests I was impressed by its intelligence. It may not get it right 100% of the time, but it will save you a lot of time.
The local search elements of oneSearch can also be used through theshortcut application. In the example below the Search Assist functionimpressively suggest search terms that would give very precise resultfor some local pubs. I continued with the term I entered, 'pub,uckfield', and you can see the result included listings, with phonenumbers, of several local pubs.

Mail for Exchange 2.9 (158) ​

There is a new version of Mail for Exchange, Nokia’s Exchange ActiveSync implementation enabling push synchronization between Nokia devices and Microsoft Exchange.

The new version includes a number of exciting new features such as support for Access Point Groups / Destinations for automatic switching between WiFi and GPRS (this is will not work on all devices, see more after the jump) much improved battery life, synchronization of pictures, a number of bug fixes as well as support for new devices Nokia E63, Nokia N97 etc.
From The Release Notes:

• Access Point Groups/Destinations - Mail for Exchange can now actively switch between WiFi and GPRS connections automatically if your phone supports Destinations. This feature is only available on S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 and S60 5th Edition phones. To identify your device, visit this site: (See your phone User Guide for details about Destinations.)

• Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, are disabled by default on new installs. This is to prevent users from inadvertently losing Calendar, Contacts and Task data.

• When editing your Out of Office (OoO) message on the the device, Mail for Exchange retrieves the current OoO message from the server when the setting/tab is accessed and OoO is set to “Yes”, instead of periodically as in previous versions. This may cause a short delay and requires connectivity with the server.

• Much better battery life in adverse network conditions. If the Mail for Exchange client can’t maintain a connection to the Exchange Server, it automatically switches to polling every 15 minutes. The client will switch back to Always on at the next scheduled period.

• Mail for Exchange setting tabs are no longer dynamically displayed, instead all tabs are always displayed.

• Manage your device by name instead of IMEI via Outlook Web Access (OWA) email client (if account allows). Users of OWA can perform device management features on their phone clients such as wiping the device. The phone model name is now visible in the status field. This is helpful for users who are synchronizing several phones.

• Pictures in contacts are now synchronized.

goText is a free Java software for mobile phone (a J2ME midlet) that lets you send SMS, MMS and email for free, paying only a little amount due to the data transferred via GPRS, usually in the order of some cents. If your mobile phone has WiFi connectivity, or you have a flat rate for gprs traffic, you'll be able to send 100% free messages!
The cost is so little because goText uses services from website offering free sms from web, handling the connection through an intermediate server to reduce as much as possible the amount on data received and sent, and thus message's cost.
Usually goText transfer is about only 1/2 kB per message.

Import Bookmarks Wizard
jB5 Mobile Browser provides you the facility to import all your bookmarks/favorites from your browser on your Desktop PC using the Import Bookmark feature. This provides desktop users the power of getting all their favorites/bookmarks into their mobile browser quickly.
Personalize Wizard
Personalize Wizard allows you to preserve values entered in form fields for future use. Thus pages containing form fields that need to be filled in frequently like login pages, query pages, etc, can be saved once and accessed without having to re-enter these fields again. Pages stored using Personalize Wizard will take you directly to the resulting page, thus bypassing the initial page where these fields would otherwise have to be entered.



A special folder called “Personalize Wizard” folder will be created in Favorites folder in jB5. This folder will contain special bookmarks created by Personalize Wizard.



Personalize Folder may be locked by a PIN (a 4-digit number) to avoid unauthorized access. PIN for Personalize Folder can be set by selecting Options->Settings on jB5’s main menu. On the Settings screen, scroll down and click on the “Manage personalize Wizard PIN” link. Enter current PIN (if set previously) and the new PIN. Leaving the new PIN field blank, will unset the PIN allowing access to “Personalize Wizard” without validation.



Note: Personalize Wizard PIN cannot be retrieved if lost. In the event you loose the PIN, you will have to delete the Personalize Wizard folder completely. Doing so, will also delete all the stored links as well.
