Lights On is a software service which is able to automatically turn on and keep activated the screen light of the phone as long as the charger is plugged in or based on a timeout period. The screenlight will never turn off until either the charger is plugged out or the timeout expires. It will also try to keep the keypad unlocked if you set this. You can also manually turn the light on/off using the applications settings.

Lights On is mainly useful while you are driving your car but you can easily use it for any other reason which requires keeping the screen light always turned on without your intervention.

When you plug the phone in the compatible car charger, after the inactivity time, many phones will turn the light off, showing the idle screen. This is very inconvenient because you can not easily see what the phone displays while you have to keep driving. Lights On reacts at the charger plug in events and will automatically keep the screen light activated/on allowing you to see and use the phone more easily. When you plug out the phone from the compatible car charger the screen light is turned back to the normal state (off); it will behave depending by the phone’s light settings.

The application could also be used when you are in a darkness area and you need the screen light to be always turned on/active without to touch your phone periodically.

Mobbler, Mobile Scrobbler, is a last.fm radio player and scrobbler for Nokia S60 3rd and 5th edition smartphones. It allows you to listen to your last.fm radio stations and to scrobble tracks played using the Nokia S60 Music Player. Music player scrobbling can be done both whilst you listen, or queued offline to be submitted later.


Warning: Please note that the radio player functionality of mobbler will use a lot of data. The makers of Mobbler can not be held responsible for your phone bill.

Mobbler should be compatible with all Nokia s60 3rd and 5th edition mobile phones. To see a list of these devices then please go here.
Install

Download the SIS file on the right and install mobbler on you phone. Please note that if you are upgrading mobbler, you may need to un-install your current version before installing again.

If you have a 3.0 then you should also install mobblerhelper.sis. If you don't know what your phone is then it won't hurt to install this anyway.

If mobbler won't install, it probably means that your phone does not accept self signed applications. You will need to go to the application manager on your phone and change the software installation setting from signed only to all.

What it is ?

Camhistory is a free camera-survailance-software or basic alarm-system for
Symbian S60 Smartphones.​

It is capable of:
- recognizing and recording motion/differences in the cam-picture
- ring your mobile, send a sms or send an email, when motion in camera-sight is
detected (alarm-funtionality)
- define areas of the campicture, which do not trigger recordings/alarms
- being controlled by sms-commands (change to front/back-camera of phone,
send a picture with/without flash, ...)​

Installation/start of application
- Install Python for S60 and python-console
- copy camhistory.py to work-directiry ( c:\Python )
- start python-console, "run script" and choose camhistory.py
After the program ends all settings are stored in a cfg file in the phone-memory c:\. Feel free to delete this file to start with default-settings again.​

BONUS SCRIPT:Upload / WEBCAM-Mode (from V.02 on)
Included in the package are two php-scripts. Upload.php and upload2.php. While the first is used to upload events, the second just stores pictures with the same nameoverwriting the previous picture (webcam-mode).
They can be called within camhistory by choosing the upload/web-cam-option in thealarm-settings-page. To reduce costs (when not using wlan), the number of uploaded pictures can be limited to 10 or 100 a day.
Camhistory uses the default-connection, which you can set with the connection.pyscript.Be aware that using off-line-mode requires user-input for uploading.​
