Introduction
Calc is a Java calculator for MIDP or J2ME devices, such as a Java-enabled mobile phone or PDA. It was developed on a Sony Ericsson T610, which was my first Java-enabled phone but which has such a pitiful built-in calculator that I was compelled to develop this application.

Calc works much like a good old HP calculator with RPN logic, but the stack has 16 elements and you can see many of the elements on the stack simultaneously. I have chosen to use RPN logic (Reverse Polish Notation), because operating it requires less keys, you need only ENTER instead of "(", ")" and "=". Additionally, being able to store and see intermediate results on the stack is very advantageous.

Using the Real Java floating point library, Calc has 63 bits internal precision, which amounts to approximately 19 decimal digits accuracy, considerably more than normal calculators and computers. The exponent is 31 bits, which allows for numbers up to 4.197·10323228496. Handy when you want to calculate the factorial of 40000000.

Hardware compatibility
From version 3.00, the size of Calc exceeds 64kB. This means that on some old phones, Calc won't work. For those users, there is always version 2.08. Since I don't know what phones from the old compatibility list work after version 3.00, I have made a new list. I'll fill it up as I get feedback from you!

Simple view vs Extended View
The # key will toggle between simple / extended view.
In simple view mode, only the filename is displayed and thus each entry takes only one line of the screen:
In extended view,
the date of modification and size of the file are added (date and number of entries for a directory, size and free space for a drive):

Shortcuts
Long press on the numerical keyboard will also quickly move you to 9 predefined locations of the file system:

There is currently no way to modify customize these locations but we plan to introduce this in the future. Note that this feature is not available on P800 / P900 phones.
File Menu
Open: Open the file using the default associated application. Use the built-in viewer if none is defined.
View: Open the file using the built-in viewer
Properties: View some details about the highlighted file.
Rename: Rename the highlighted file

Directory Menu

Create Dir: Create a new directory
Properties: View some details about the highlighted directory.
Rename: Rename the highlighted directory

Selection Menu

The * key (Space on S80) can also be used to select / deselect the currently highlighted file.
The C key (Clear) will delete the current selection (the highlighted file / directory if no selection has been defined).

Utils Menu

The Extended Error / Disable Error entries will enable / disable the display of the panic code generated by any defective application.

AmLich is a lunar calendar application for Java-capable mobile phones, developed by Hồ Ngọc Đức. It computes and displays Vietnamese lunar dates (Âm lịch) for dates between 1700 and 2199.


Currently selected day is shown in a box. Starting day of lunar month (ngày mùng 1 tháng âm lịch) is underlined.
Use LEFT, RIGHT (on many phones: key 4 and 6) to go 1 day backwards/forwards. Use UP, DOWN (the UP/DOWN buttons or keys 2 and 8 on many phones) to go 1 week backwards or forwards.
To see details of currently selected day, push the FIRE button (usually key 5 on mobile phones) or activate command "View current".
To select another month, push the FIRE button or activate the command "View current". A screen will appear that allows you to enter another date.
To view help, activate the "Help" command If your device supports pointer, you can navigate around with it. Tap a day to select it. Tap again to view its details. Tap the button "<<", "<", ">", ">>" to move 1 month or 1 year.

All you require is a Nokia Series 60 phone and a bluetooth GPS receiver. Vehicle drivers can carry the phone and use it for his daily activities, while you can track his routes live from web site. Also you can track routes taken by your drivers on any previous date.

Driver cannot exit the application while using in a Nokia S60 2nd edition phone. Even if the driver restarts the phone, the application will turn ON automatically and start sending his location. Application can be turned OFF only by the administrator by logging in as admin on the phone.

Symot Tracker (Live) Features

With Symot Tracker (Live), You can view Live motion of all your drivers on a single screen once you log in Symot Tracker website http://www.symot.com/tracker. You also have hyperlinks for each driver to see the live motion of any particular driver. In order to add a driver under your username, go to ?edit profile’ page after you login from the Symot Tracker website and add a new device.

You can select a date and view the previous tracks of your drivers from a single screen. You have hyperlinks for each driver to see the previous tracks of any particular driver.

Bluetooth GPS receiver automatically reconnects within 2 minutes with the phone if you go away from the GPS receiver and gets back near to it.
If by any chance GPRS (internet) gets inactive in your phone or you are not in a GPRS active area, Symot Tracker records your route in the phone and sends it to the server once your GPRS is active.

Application turns ON automatically when the phone is restarted. The application will be always running on the phone unless the Admin turns OFF the ?service status’.

Periodicity is the time interval between each track points. You can set the periodicity from the Admin screen on the phone or from the 'Edit Profile' page after you login from the Symot Tracker website. You may adjust the periodicity depending on the interval between which you need to track your vehicles.

For tracking within a city or short distance tracking, periodicity in the range of 15 - 120 seconds is preferred. For long distance tracking, set periodicity in the range of 120-300 seconds. Setting the periodicity to higher value increases the battery performance and reduces the data transfer.

Set the time zone of your place in the Admin screen on the phone. (For eg, if you are in India set it as +05:30, if you are following Pacific standard time set it as -08:00, For Melbourne, Sydney In Australia set it as +10:00) The Default time zone set is GMT(+00:00).

Steps for Tracker Setup:

1. Download this application and install it on your phone.
2. Sign up for a tracker account at www.symot.com/tracker.
3. Open the application from the phone and hit admin option and login using the same username and password used during Sign Up.
4. Once you have logged in as Admin on the phone, Select the Bluetooth GPS receiver, Internet access point, Periodicity, Time zone and set the Service status as 'ON' and hit SAVE to start the service.
5. To stop the service, set the Service status as 'OFF' in Admin screen and hit SAVE.
6. Hitting 'Close' option on the phone exits the application only when the service status is set to 'OFF' in the admin screen, else the application runs on the background.
7. To track the device, log in at Code:

You can view the latest tracks as well as tracks for previous dates.
