Snap&Sketch Feature :

With the new Snap&Sketch feature mobile MSN is more fun than before. Make a personalized photo in 3 steps:
Step 1: Snap
Snap a nice photo with your mobile. For example a nice photo on holiday, a photo of yourself or your pet.

Note that some mobiles do not support the Photo function even if they have a camera. This is because those mobiles do not give Java programs like eMSN access to the phone. But even if you do not camera support you can still make nice sketches (see step 2)


Step 2: Sketch
Personalize your photo with your own text and drawings. Use the following keys:
1: Change color
2: Change line width
3: Choose between the following: line, rectangle, ellipse, filled rectangle, filled ellipse, text
arrow keys: Move the cursor
ok (sometimes the 5 key): Create the selected drawing object. After that use the arrow keys to change the size. Then press ok again and use the arrow keys to change the position of the object.
4: Undo
5: Sometimes used as ok button.
6: Redo
9: Change font (in case of drawing a text object).



Step 3: Send/email/store
Snap&Sketch is available in the following screens:
Login screen. You can choose to stay offline and start Snap&Sketch. In this case you can store your drawing for later use.
Chat-window. During a chat-session you can start Snap&Sketch and send the result to your buddies.
Email window. When you send an email you can start Snap&Sketch and send the result as an attachment.

Installation notes:

Download the .jar file and transfer the .jar file to your mobile via infra-red or blue tooth. Now, most mobiles will see the .jar file as an incoming message that requires confirmation for installing.

What is PeerBox™

Introducing PeerBox™

PeerBox™ is a peer-to-peer file sharing service for the mobile devices. PeerBox™ allows searching for music, video and pictures in open P2P networks, downloading the files onto the phone and sharing the files with other users.

PeerBox™ also allows downloading premium content from Nareos servers. PeerBox™ is integrated with 3rd party Robust Audio Hashing (fingerprinting) technology to recognize copyrighted content and collect payments for it.


How to Use PeerBox™


Home Screen

PeerBox home screen gives access to various PeerBox screens, as well as to featured songs.



For each one of the featured songs, you can view the details, and purchase the songs.

PeerBox™ Search

Enter the Search screen to search the open P2P networks. Enter a search term by typing the name of the desired artist or item. Push Options|Choose Category to choose what to search for: Music, Video, Pictures or Ringtones



After you finish entering the search term, select Options|Search. PeerBox will search the open P2P networks for you. After you get the list of files, you can browse through the list, see file details and choose one or more files to be downoladed to your device.



You can choose Options|Go to Downloads to see your files in the Downloads screen right away, of choose Options|Back To Home to return to the Home Screen. Note that a green arrow appears on the home page when you start downloading, and the number next to it indicates the number of files that are being downloaded.

Song Identification

Song Identification is probably the coolest feature of PeerBox. With Identify, you can hold the phone to any source of music anywhere, anytime, and have the music recognized for you. For example, you are at a noisy bar, and you suddenly hear that song that you heard before and really love but have no idea about who is singing and what the song name is. Grab your phone, open PeerBox, push the Identify icon and then Record.



Hold the phone to the music for 15 seconds, and then select Identify from the Options menu. In a snap, the song information will appear on the screen. Now you can purchase the song and enjoy it on your mobile.



In some cases, we can identify a song, but it is still not available for sale through PeerBox. In these cases, you can add the song to your own Wishlist so that we can let you know when the song becomes available. We will also offer you some songs similar to the song you have just identified.

Music Catalog

PeerBox comes with a vast catalog of music. You can browse music by Genre, Artist, Album or Period. We also make New Releases and Featured Albums available to you. Choose the music you like, and acquire it on your phone.

he bonus catalog can be browsed by Genres or Artists, and New Releases and Hot Picks are also at your disposal. Pick the tracks you like and download them for free!

Downloads

All your current and past downloads can be seen in the Downloads screen. For each file, you can see its download status and its size. Push Options|Details to see more details on the files. Artist, album and track names, as well as the album art, are shown for recognized files. We are currently integrating an Audio Fingerprinting component that is capable of identifying copyrighted songs that are being downloaded from the peer-to-peer networks. Songs identified as copyrighted will be offered for sale and PeerBox users will not be allowed to download them for free.



After a file has been downloaded, you can move it to the History screen by pushing Options|Move to History in the Downloads screen.
