Family Medical Practice is delighted to welcome our new gynecologist Dr. Aron Schuftan, MD, FACOG, to our team of specialist doctors. Dr. Aron comes to us from San Jose, California. He brings the experience of his gynecological training from Boston Medical Centre, USA. He also brings professional expertise gained from working in private centres of gynecological excellence in the USA. Dr. Aron also held a Faculty position at Stanford Medical School Hospital, with a focus on the advancement of women’s health. At Family Medical Practice, we understand the sensitivities involved in women’s health and thus now we offer a confidential service with a comprehensive range of gynecological services. From January 2015 onwards, FMP will offer the following services: - PAP smears - Female health check-ups - Diagnosis and treatment of vaginitis - Management and treatment of menorrhagia (menstrual periods with abnormally heavy or prolonged bleeding) - Contraceptive counselling - STD testing and treatment - Diagnosis and management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome - Diagnostic ultrasounds Dr. Aron is available for consultations Monday - Friday.
