What is a Mobizine?
The Mobizines service is all about entertainment snacks for your phone. The latest news stories, film reviews, some juicy gossip or lifestyle tips - The Mobizines service is available to everyone as a way of taking their content mobile.

Lots of top print and online magazines as well as TV channels and record labels are now working with us to create mobile magazines and you can get them on almost any mobile, any time. And it’s not just the big boys, anyone from bands to shops can launch one.

You don't pay for our service - just your phone network's standard data charges and you don't have to go online to read our mags - just download them to your mobile in a few seconds, and read them when it suits you. Plus, our service is not a WAP service, so it is quick and easy to download and fun to use.

How does our service work?
We have created little bite-sized files with words and pictures that you can download any time, and then either read them straight away, or save them for later, when you're in the mood for an entertainment snack.

Each Mobizines mini mag is 'double compressed' so that it's quick to download, doesn't take up much memory on your phone (typically around 30K or less) and most importantly doesn't incur expensive data transfer charges.

How much does the Mobizines service cost?
We do not charge for downloading or reading items on our Mobizines service. We are committed to making our service 100% free and make our living through advertising on the service which means we do not have to charge our users any money at all.

The only costs incurred when using the Mobizines service are those costs charged by the big network operators/carriers who make money through data charges. This fee is minimised as we double compress all our data to make sure data costs are low. We recommend our customers' sign up to all you can eat data bundles to ensure the costs of using our service is free.

Once you've requested a title, the next edition will be pushed to you and will save over the old edition. Most mobiles require you to 'refresh' to receive the next edition, see Help, Nokia smartphones do this automatically.

Some editions are daily, some weekly - you can find all the details in Browse. You can cancel a title any time you like, and of course you can order as many as you want.
Can any mobile get the Mobizines service?
Most mobiles can get the Mobizines service. If your mobile has Java (if you can play games on your phone, it probably has Java installed) or is a Nokia smartphone (which means it uses the Symbian smart phone platform), then you should be able to get the Mobizines service.
