1)Unpack and run "uNsIs v2.5.msi".

2)There are 3 folds asbin, pkg and temp in this directory.
Directory “bin” contains system files and do not touch anything!!!

3)Installation path information of sis package is stored in directory“pkg”,
and it can be showed in the application as well; files unpacked from
sisarchive are placed in the directory “temp”.

4)Make sure to clean “temp” everytimeafter unpack process for fear affecting
the next unpack operation!!!

About setting funtion:
4 modes of extracting:
1. Extract as install path: Extract the application according to its installation path
2. Delete files when quit: Files in the temp folder will be deleted when you exit the software
3. Multifile Mode: Extract files inside an application as sis files, i.e., Xsound
4. Special Mode: Only used when normal mode is not working, i.e., Smart Movie. *Try to avoid using this mode if possible.

Symella v1.30 Peer-to-Peer file sharing network



Symella is a Gnutella client for Symbian smartphones. Gnutella is a popular Peer-to-Peer file sharing network with several users from all around the world. (for PC Gnutella clients check this site).


Symella supports multi-threaded downloads which means that if multiple users have a particular file then Symella can download the file from several locations simultenously.

Currently, it is available for mobile devices based on the S60 Platform 3rd edition.

Symella is free (and open source) software, distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Symella for S60 3rd edition is now available for download. We fixed several bugs and refined the UI as well. The application has been tested on Nokia N80 and N91 phones.
Sorry for the long delay but we have been very busy with some other projects. As you can see, the webpage has been moved to our department's portal. Perhaps the layout is not the best one but we had no other choice, and here at least all of our projects can be found at the same place. We are going to add a forum and, if the demand is high enough, other features as well.

SymTorrent is a BitTorrent client for Symbian smartphones. BitTorrent is a very popular peer-to-peer file-sharing protocol used by millions of users worldwide.

SymTorrent is the first full-featured and complete BitTorrent client for Symbian OS. It supports downloading multiple torrent files at the same time, is capable of both downloading and uploading and can save the status of your unfinished torrents, so you can resume the downloads after restarting the application. The first version of SymTorrent is available for download. It has been under development since the beginnning of 2006. We have tested it on Nokia N80 and N91 smartphones but it can still contain some untracked bugs, so any feedback is appriciated.
