Yahoo! OneSearch S60v3 v1.01.0016 [updated]





Yahoo has released a native Symbian application which puts a shortcut to its oneSearchservice on the Idle screen of your phone (N70, N95, N73, 6120, and E65). The stand out feature is Search Assist that suggests terms and phrases as you go and aims to save you time and provide related concepts for more refined results.

oneSearch Shortcut is accessed by pressing the pencil key on the idle screen. Entering a few letters will ten activate the Search Assist features. In the screenshot below you can see I've started to enter 'bb' and the software has started suggesting various BBC services (exactly what I was looking for).

Search Assist is particularly beneficial on a mobile device where text entry speed is somewhat restricted. In my tests I was impressed by its intelligence. It may not get it right 100% of the time, but it will save you a lot of time.

The local search elements of oneSearch can also be used through the shortcut application. In the example below the Search Assist function impressively suggest search terms that would give very precise result for some local pubs. I continued with the term I entered, 'pub, uckfield', and you can see the result included listings, with phone numbers, of several local pubs.

Chương trình giữ sáng màn hình để xem TV, Video, rất nhỏ gọn mà hữu ích
Chương trình làm việc tốt (Test ở Nokia E65 13/10/2008, version 0.07 là mới nhất đến ngày 13/10/08).



Cách sử dụng:
1- Khi mở chương trình, bấm phím Options -> Nếu thấy "Displaylight on" thì "Select" nó, sẽ được báo là "Backlight keep turn on!". Sau đó bấm phím Blue-Right để thoát ra khỏi màn hình của chương trình (không bấm Blue-Left rồi chọn Exit). Như vậy chương trình vẫn làm việc ở chế độ Background, chỉ thị bằng một "chấm trắng" nhấp nháy ở góc Top-Right của màn hình. Màn hình sẽ không bị tắt khi xem video, TV, đọc chuyện bằng các chương trình không tích hợp chức năng turn-on màn hình.
2- Khi không muốn màn hình luôn sáng ("Displaylight on") thì mở chương trình, bấm Blue-Left rồi chọn "Exit". Điều này cần thiết để tiết kiệm pin. Xác định lại là không còn "chấm trắng" nhấp nháy ở góc Top-Right của màn hình.
3- Sau này mỗi khi muốn sử dụng thì mở chương trình, sẽ được báo là "Backlight keep turn on!", bấm phím Blue-Right để thoát ra khỏi màn hình của chương trình. Màn hình sẽ không bị tắt.

the final version in this series will be v1.9.0 final!
In this version, I have only arranged and optimized the source code.
The functions remain the same.
There were so many icons and backgrounds suggested. (thx 2 all)
Therefore, I have nothing changed.
Each of you can be adjust "DontTouch" themselve.
