By default, the firmware (software) for x600 only receives java apps and other applications like stuff by serial port.but even for it, you have to enable the serial port, which also causes the closing of all other ports, even the IrDA too :-( ..
well, guess what, i have very good news for you,do you know, you can increase the sound level,the sound level for tones, speaker fone, etc,can be increase even then if it is at max (level 4)
you still can do it,just follows the instructions!

Enter the following code:

then go to:
"H/W test"
then go to:
"Audio Settings"

then go to:
"Melody Gain"

There will you see a number.there are five (5) Melody Levels" of it.(and currently, you are at level 1 and afterpressing the "save" button, you will move tolevel 2 and so on .........................)
you have to change the values of all the levels.and as the resultant, it will give increase the melody sound!, your tones will more louder,even more louder then the max. ringing volume.
the level wise numbers are: (as its my setting )

Melody Level 1: 13
Melody Level 2: 17
Melody Level 3: 18
Melody Level 4: 25
Melody Level 5: 31
you even can make your own combinations of level wisesounding numbers that can change the sound level!.

if your combination cause more louder sound level,then mine,then do share it with the group! ... meanwhile, try my figured-out combination!

if anything goes wrong,then you can apply the master reset code,that will NOT delete anything, ANYTHING from yourcell fone, but set each and eveything to itsdefault/standard setting ...(likes, factory settings )

Tui chưa sài được D600 nên không biết. mong bác thông cảm nhé!!!Hình như nghe nói Samsung muốn cài games thì hơi bị khó.Bác muốn cài thêm game thì phải dùng cable thôi.D600 cò sài thẻ nhớ không vậy?

d600 có sài thẻ nhớ bác ạ, em thử cài game java theo cách của d500 nhưng báo lỗi kết nối, thấy bác có vẻ rành về samsung nên em nhờ bác tìm hiểu dùm em thử, chứ nếu khôg cài được thì chán quá....

Cài games cho samsung cũng đơn giản thôi. Kết nối GPRS tải games về rất tiện. Có điều games Java thiết kế cho Samsung cũng hiếm, cho cac loại máy khác như Nokia, Siemens... thì dễ kiếm hơn. Tất nhiên 1 số games cho các máy khác vẫn co thể chạy được trên máy SS nhưng thường bị khiếm khuyết. Nếu máy bạn đã kết nối được GPRS thì có thể tìm và tải được nhiều thứ ngoài games, đơn giản bằng cách vào địa chỉ wap.google.com để tìm trực tiếp trên điện thoại của bạn, khi đã tìm được link thì việc tải và cài đặt do máy tự làm. Đặc biệt tin tưởng là trang wap.samsungmobile.com, đó là trang FunClub của SS trên toàn thế giới, mọi thứ đều thích hợp với máy bạn. Bạn muốn tải các thứ trên này thì phải đăng kí thành viên tại www.samsungmobile.com và phải tốn point... mọi thông tin nằm trên trang này. Tôi cũng đã tải free được 1 số trò ở đó, có cả games action, khá hay.
Điều quan trọng là bạn phải kết nối GPRS, tôi ko biết bạn ở đâu nhưng sóng GPRS ở VN phủ rất hạn chế, được vài tỉnh thành trên cả nước.

Có cách nào mà không cần kết nối GPRS không? máy có cổng usb mà, với lại game java cho samsung thi em ko thiếu nhưng đưa vào máy rồi thì chẳng thấy tự động cài gì cả ......

Hôm nay ghé thăm box này thấy SS chuối thật. Mời các vị sang box Symbian để xem sự hấp dẫn của Nokia như thế nào. Đầy đủ các loại 'đồ chơi' tối tân nhất. Theo tôi, các vị thử dùng Nokia đi, sẽ thích ngay đó, chẳng bao giờ phải hỏi những câu hỏi thuộc loại phổ thông như thế này đâu.
