Opera Mini 4.0

Opera Mini is a well-known mobile Web browser. This is the first version of Opera browser that runs on Google's Android open mobile development platform.
The Opera Mini browser renders web pages that have been transcoded to the binary OBML format, meaning much smaller downloads and a faster browsing experience on mobiles, than would be provided by other browsers. The Android WebKit-based browser component has a switch in the public API allowing the use of a transcoding proxy that transcodes web pages to a simpler form of HTML. Whether this is as small and fast as Opera Mini's OBML remains to be seen.
Known issues:

* The Back command isn't yet mapped to the device back button

Manage 1.2

Manage 1.2 is a file manager for the Android mobile platform. It can do basic file operations like move, copy, delete etc.

TooDo 2.0.5

TooDo is a smart task manager. It allows you to set and share tasks with others via SMS.

TooDo offers geographically-based notification reminders. TooDo proposes to capture textual, audio or video notes related to a task. ​

• You can two-way synchronize with your "Remember The Milk" lists and tasks.
• You can two-way synchronize with your "Toodledo\" folders and tasks!
• You can define locations for alerts to be triggered when you enter or leave a zone.

New in the version 2.0.5:

• Fixes a bug concerning the edition of a category in landscape orientation: formerly, it was not possible to scroll down to the bottom of the form;
• Fixes a bug on the categories list screen: completion icons were truncated;
• The geo-notification feature is back. If you wish to use it intensively, do not forget to set the preferences of the detection mechanism through the settings screen (there is a section which is called "Geo-notification"): this enables you to spare your battery, by setting the geographical and time-based checking intervals. For a given to-do, if you want to set or several notifications based on your location, click on the little arrow (yes, too little, we know next to the right of the green "Conditions" text: there, you can remove, enable/disable geographically-based notification conditions and context-based notification conditions;
• The new first screen which appears when starting TooDo is the to-dos list screen;
• Removed the RTM and Toodledo icons from the shortcut screen: the only way to access to the two services settings is to click the icons on the home screen;
• The to-dos and categories list screen now display each item description in a larger font.

Android jChat 1.0

Android jChat is an agent based chat application with GPS support for Android, based on the JADE agent framework.
It allows the user to communicate with any other contact having the same software running and connected to the same JADE platform. Users can send text IM in a chat like way, call a contact by phone or even send an SMS to a contact.
Moreover the position of each contact can be seen on the map at any time and it is continuously updated.
Features of jChat:

• Contacts management: contacts are read from the phone contacts database.
• Persistence: you can see the status of all contacts connected to your own JADE platform.
• Real time localization: you can see the position of the contacts on the map and the distance from your current position. Localization uses the Android mocked GPS provider for tracking contacts position. You are able to import new custom tracks if you wish.
• Multiple chat sessions handling: you can open multiple chat sessions with different contacts and switch between them.
• Support for chat with many contacts in a single session.
• Mocked SMS sending and phone call to contacts.

jChat4Android 1.0 is released as open source software according to the LGPL 2.1.

Five Alpha

Five is a streaming media framework designed to efficiently expose media hosted on your home PC via your cell phones data connection

​

It does this by passively synchronizing meta data and actively streaming/caching the media itself. Currently only music is supported, with a rich player included, however this concept is planned to be expanded to photo albums, stored videos, etc. Likewise, a proof-of-concept desktop version is in the works.
