PowerNavigation will let you use your GPS receiver for all kinds of navigation tasks as effectively as possible. You can use custom maps with the help of PowerNavigation. It will also let you watch direction, movement speed, level of GPS signal and satellites' monitoring, record passed way, create waypoints, tracks and different sound events.
This program requires a separate GPS receiver. It's not supplied with your device!

GT is a program for S60 mobile phones. It uses a Bluetooth GPS receiver to measure your car's top speed and acceleration (0-100 km/h and 0-400 m, or 0-60 mph and quarter mile). GT is also useful for navigation, giving direction and distance to any set destination.

Performance measurements VROOM!
* Shows current speed, maximum speed of session and peak speed of acceleration run.
* Shows acceleration 0-100 km/h or 0-60 mph, and 0-400 m or 0-1/4 mile.
* Detailed results are saved to files which can be sent to your PC via e.g. email or Bluetooth, or to other phones via e.g. text messages. See examples.

Navigation GOTO
* Shows destination name, distance, direction arrow and speed.

The SMS Diary application (version 1.3)

The SMS diary application reads all your SMS messages in your phone (but do not delete them, of course) and creates a diary out of them. The diary that will be created consists of two web pages; one page with a table of contents and statistics (statistics on how many messages you have sent etc) and the other page contains all your messages, formatted in a nice way. The web pages are saved on the internal memory of your phone. After the diary has been created you can transfer the web-pages to your pc and store them for future use.

Send pictures of any format via SMS. Let it be jpg, gif, bmp or png, send them all as picture messages

Send pictures of any format via SMS. Let it be jpg, gif, bmp or png, send them all as picture messages.

Steps:

1. Create/ Draw a picture of 72 pixel width and 28 pixel height using any picture software such as Adobe photoshop, Microsoft paint etc and save it as gif, jpg, bmp or png.

2. Transfer this picture to the phone via USB or bluetooth or Infrared and save it in phone gallery (c:\nokia\images in phone memory or e:\images in memory card).

3. Open Symot PictureSMS and select this picture and hit forward to send it as SMS picture message.

Note: Picture can be of the size which are multiples of 72x28 like 144x56, 216x84, 288x112 etc and formats such as gif, jpg, bmp or png. But for best clarity, monochrome pictures of 72x28 pixel size is preferred.

Creating monochrome 72x28 pixel pictures in Adobe Photoshop

Open Adobe Photoshop and hit New under File menu. Set the width as 72 pixels, height as 28 pixels and the mode as Bitmap. Zoom In the picture canvas so that it will be easier for you to draw. Draw your picture and save as bmp (windows), png or gif.

Creating monochrome 72x28 pixel Pictures in Microsoft Paint

Open Start > Programs > accessories > Paint on your computer (Windows Operating System). Hit Image > Attributes and set the image width as 72 pixels and height as 28 pixels. Hit View > Zoom > Large size to Zoom In the picture canvas. Draw your picture and save it as Monochrome Bitmap or gif, jpg, bmp or png.
