Brothers In Arms 3D for 3250!!!

Taking command isn't easy. Taking the consequences is even harder.

Throughout the game's 5 missions, you'll get the chance to show off all of your military talents and your expert command of weapons. You'll have to master the sniper rifle, the grenade launcher, the Thompson machine gun, and even grenades to blow your enemies away. Call Of Duty 3 [N3250]
Activision has World War 2 covered: every time a new Call of Duty game launches on consoles, a mobile version isn’t far away. As Call of Duty is the leading action based WW2 brand in gaming today, the name carries some weight – and an obligation to quality.

Call of Duty 3 Mobile seems the best of the series at first glance. It has solid visuals, smooth gameplay, and a better AI than its predecessors, so that fighting alongside a small group of soldiers is more realistic and less frustrating this time around. The player is sent on eight varied missions as part of an American, British, Canadian and even Polish outfit, and has to use stealth, cover, sniping and all-out assault in order to conquer the odds and eliminate all German resistance.

Then you notice the flawed gameplay. This is a Call of Duty game, so it attempts to add a tactical facet to play rather than focus solely on action. This means that you’re supposed to take cover and work with the soldiers in your squad if you want to get somewhere and stay alive in the process.

callofduty-3.jpgIn truth, the end result is that neither the tactical side nor the action side of things is very balanced. At first I cooperated with the concept, sneaking around and sniping enemies from cover. When I’ve found out that I’m virtually invincible this way, I changed my playing style to the other extreme – running and gunning every Wermacht soldier in my way. To my surprise I’ve discovered that, more often than not, the fastest way to clear a mission is to run straight over to the German positions, stand right smack in the middle of the enemy force and fire away, without even pretending to aim or avoid incoming fire. This discovery trivialized what remained of the game at that stage.

So, on the surface it’s a solid military shooter with well done WW2 atmosphere, but just below it really is a broken thing that you can only enjoy if you pretend it works as it should have worked.

Fatal Force - works full screen on OS 9.1

There could be an issue with sound: it's either no sound, or extremily loud. I'm interested whether you experience the same.

Despite the sound issue, this is an addictive game. I'm sure you'll enjoy this one.

I can highly recommend the Deathmatch mode.
