How to play :

Starting the game

Highlight the "MONOPOLY WORLD" icon in the games menu on your phone, and press "OK." A screen appears giving the option to play with the sound on or off (sound can also be turned on/off in the options menu). Select "Yes" or "No" to proceed to the splash screens and Main Menu.

Main Menu

* Continue Game - Continue a game in progress (if applicable)
* New Game - Start a new game
* Statistics - View your statistics against AI opponents
* Options - Press "OK" or select to toggle "Sounds," "Music," "Vibration," "Animations," and "DID YOU KNOW?" text pop ups on game cards. You can also choose "Reset Stats."
* More Games - Find more EA Mobile games for your phone
* Help - Display detailed instructions about how to play the game
* About - Display legal info, customer service and copyright information

From the Main Menu, select New Game or Continue Game, then let the MONOPOLY fun begin!

Object of the game:

The object of MONOPOLY: Here & Now: The World Edition is to try to be the wealthiest player at the end of the game. You earn wealth by buying, trading, and building up properties in order to charge rent to the other players.

House Rules:

House rules allow you to change some of the rules of the game. Below is a list of the rules that can be changed, and a description of what they can be changed to.

AUCTIONS - There are two different ways to play an auction. "Round Robin" is the traditional way of bidding that will allow players to slowly bid up the cost of the property. This will lead to longer auction rounds, but the players will always know what the other players are bidding. "Max Bid" allows players to enter the maximum bid amount they are willing to pay for the property. Bidding only lasts one round, and the players cannot see the other bids. The winning bidder gets the property at a small increment above the second highest bid. This is useful if you want quick auctions. You can also disable auctions entirely by changing the setting to "NONE".

HOUSES PER HOTEL - This number changes the number of houses that are required to build before you can build a hotel.

FREE PARKING - This option changes the amount of money that you will get if you land on the Free Parking space. In the default game, it is set to None, but you can set it to be a specific number, or all of the Tax money that has been collected so far in the game.

INITIAL CASH - This option changes the amount of money you start a game with.

LAND ON GO SALARY - Changing this option will double the Go salary if your piece lands on the Go space.

PROPERTIES AT START - This allows you to change the number of properties you start the game with. When starting with properties, the cost of the properties will be subtracted from your starting money.

LIMITED HOUSES - With this option On, you can only build houses if there are house tokens left in the bank. Turning it Off allows you to build an unlimited number of houses.

Unity was originally invented in Japan 1985 as "Chain Shot!" by Kuniaki Moribe. After that it has spread all over the world with names such as SameGame, TumeGame, KomeGame, MameGame, DebaGame, TileFall, Cabeem, MaciGame, GD-BMD etc.​

​

The idea is to clear the whole playing area by removing tiles in groups. The more tiles you remove at the same time, the more points you get. The trick is that the scoring system is exponential:

1 tile - cannot be removed
2 tiles - (2-2) ** 2 == 0 points
3 tiles - (3-2) ** 2 == 1
4 tiles - (4-2) ** 2 == 4
5 tiles - (5-2) ** 2 == 9
6 tiles - (6-2) ** 2 == 16
7 tiles - (7-2) ** 2 == 25
8 tiles - (8-2) ** 2 == 36
9 tiles - (9-2) ** 2 == 49
10 tiles - (10-2) ** 2 == 64
11 tiles - (11-2) ** 2 == 81
12 tiles - (12-2) ** 2 == 100
13 tiles - (13-2) ** 2 == 121
14 tiles - (14-2) ** 2 == 144
15 tiles - (15-2) ** 2 == 169
...
n tiles - (n-2) ** 2 == Lots of points

Tip: As you can see you should remove small groups in order to
create larger groups. When the group is big enough even just one
more tile will make a big difference.

When you remove tiles, the space will be filled by tiles above
falling down. Empty columns will be filled by sliding remaining
columns to left. If you manage to clear the whole field, you will
get 1000 points as a bonus and go to next level.

Usage

Use arrow keys (joystick) to move the white selection rectangle around the board.

Press Select (joystick) to make a selection to remove tile and all neighbouring tiles with same color.

Press Backspace (C key, Clear key) to undo one last move.

Press Star (*) to save a screenshot into C:\Data\Images
