ZooZBeatZooz Mobile, is a small group of graduates and faculty from the Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology who decided to bring some pretty cool projects from their labs to the hands of everyone.

ZooZBeat is the first Zooz’s application ported to S60 devices that lets you make loops of music of varying complexity.

ZooZBeat is an accelerometer based mobile musical studio, simple enough for non-musicians to immediately become musically expressive but rich enough for experienced musicians to push the envelope of mobile music creation.

Start playing with just a click or select among background beats in a variety of styles. Use shake and tilt movements, tap the screen, or press the keypads to create and modify rhythmic and melodic lines. Based on years of research, our propriety musical engine will interpret your actions into beautiful music that fits your style.
ZooZBeat N95 Group Jam

There is a free Lite version which features 2 background beats and 10 instrument sounds, pretty limited in my personal opinion but at least it is free. Anyway, if you like it and if you need more powerful music composing tool you can upgrade it to full version for $2.99 to double amount of beats and instruments and unlock few more cool features like voice recording and the ability to save/load tracks.

Unfortunately, application is only compatible with pre-FP2 phones, (Nokia N95/N82/N93i) but I hope they'll soon release a version compatible with new S60 sensor framework and all accelerometer equipped FP2 devices like, Nokia N96, Nokia N85, Nokia N79, 6210 Navigator, Nokia E66, as well as first 5th ed phone, Nokia 5800.

Additional icon packs for Y-Browser​

Y-Browser is a free filemanager application designed for S60 3rd edition Symbian smartphones. All testing is done with Nokia S60 devices only, but it should work as well with other manufacturers S60 smartphones.​

Currently Y-Browser only supports 3rd edition S60 mobile phones. No plans to support for earlier edition S60 or UIQ mobile phones are planned.​

If you need more information on the functionality of Y-Browser, you can visit All About Symbian or Symbian in motion and read the reviews they have written. ​

Incase you feel that some file support or other type of functionality is missing from the Y-Browser S60 file manager, then you could visit NewLC and start implementing your own Symbian Ecom plug-ins for Y-Browser.​

Y-Browser is currently available in 34 languages, from which following 30 has been updated:
English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, brazilian - Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Chinese(Taiwan), Bulgarian, Indonesian, Hebrew, Romanian, Slovak, Croatian, Norwegian, Arabic, Thai, Finnish, Turkish,Swedish, Chinese(PRC), Greek, Serbian, Czech, Ukraina & Hungarian.​

And following 4, are not updated with new strings added to the 0.88:
Lithuanian, Japanize, Macedonian, Slovenian
If you language has not yet been updated, please send me email and I'll send you the current translation excel, so you only need to translater the missing strings.​

And if your language is not included at all, then please download YBrowser_LanguageStrings_v088.xls and translate the strings. Note that there is five sheets in the excel file and some of them are quite long, thus remember to scroll. Plug-in modules are currently available only in english, but I'll try finding some time to get them translated one of these days.​

Tektronic Hidden Contact v1.01 Re tail​

Special phonebook application which allows you to hide and protect any contact from the phone built-in public Contacts.​

* Key features​

1. Set hidden. This command will hide/protect the selected contact. If a contact is hidden it will not anymore appear in the phone built-in public Contacts list but it will remain visible in the Hidden Contacts application list. You must enter the password in order to start the Hidden Contacts and access the hidden/protected contacts. Nobody can see and use the hidden/protected contacts without to know the password.
2. Set visible. Makes the contact visible in the phone built-in Contact application (unhide).
3. Remove call logs. If enabled, automatically removes the phone call logs. You can set to automatically remove the call logs for the hidden contacts only, public only or for all contacts. This option is usefull if you need more protection so that nobody can know what phone calls you did or received on your phone. If not enabled, an unauthorized person can see the phone call logs using the built-in Logs application from the phone.
4. Lock Messaging app. If set on Yes, the phone built-in Messaging/SMS application will automatically be locked by the Hidden Contacts service. You must enter the password in order to unlock and use the phone built-in Messaging/SMS application. This can protect the SMS messages you sent or received to/from the hidden or any contacts.
5. Lock Installer. If set on Yes, the phone built-in Installer application will be locked. You must enter the password in order to unlock and use the phone?s Installer. Nobody can install or uninstall the Hidden Contacts software or any application from the phone without to know the password.
6. Change password: Allows you to change the password. The default password is 1234. The password is asked when the Hidden Contacts software is started. IMPORTANT: If you reinstall the application the password and the settings are not reset; they remain the same as the last time you set. Do not forget the password !
7. Automatically exiting after the inactivity time you set.​

Note: If a contact is hidden and you make or receive phone calls, the contact''s name and the thumbnail image will not be shown by the built-in Telephony application. However, the contact''s phone number will be shown depending by your phone''s Settings.​

This application makes it possible to use your mobile phone as a graphical calculator. You can plot multiple mathematical functions, calculate the critical points, show the derivate, find the solutions of an equation, show a function table...

* The solutions of an equation can be calculated and shown

* You can save your equations and add them to the samples library of the Graph Viewer. These samples are saved persistent, for as long as you want.
