Advanced Device Locks is a Symbian OS application for locking the phone or selected applications only, such as Messages, Pictures, Contacts, Video or any other. With Advanced Device Locks you can secure your phone by locking it up with a secret code up to 7 characters long. Advanced Device Locks allows you to lock your phone automatically by choosing one of the following options:
* Always - each time the phone is turned on, it asks for the unlock code.
* When SIM Changed - the locks are on if the SIM card of the phone is changed.
* Automatic lock - an automatic lock is switched on after a specified period of inactivity in minutes.
*Protected applications - this option turns on the device locks if someone tries to access the protected applications. With Advanced Device Locks you have the unique option to choose whether to lock the phone itself, to lock selected applications on it or to combine these two options and lock both the phone and certain applications.

Put HourPower on your Softkey to hear the current time whenever you

Currently, HourPower supports English, German and French.
The language is automatically selected based on your current
phone language. You will not get an optimal experience if
your phone is not set to one of the directly supported languages,
as the text to speech engine will try to pronounce the English
text with your local language dialect.

Papyrus can be synchronized with your desktop Outlook using the Nokia PC suite, including an item's note/description fields (For Symbian 7 or higher) that are missing when using the default calendar application.

* Fixed TTF Fonts for OS 9.1 phones with a screen resolution of 240x320 on the Daily View (like the E50).
* Fixed TTF Fonts for OS 9.1 phones with a screen resolution of 352x416 on the List View (like the N71).
* XLarge font now changes size correctly for OS 9.1 phones.
* Fixed recurrence deletion issue, where Papyrus would delete the wrong item for a recurring item on OS 9.1 phones.
* Attendess now appear on a seperate line in the item's details.
* The location of an appointment now appears in the item's details.
* Fixed bug that would crash Papyrus when entering and pressing "Ok" in the "Attendees" dialog without selecting any attendee.

* Time and Date are now seperated (like they used to be) in the "New/Edit Item" dialog.
* The default font is not "Series Sans 60" anymore (caused some trouble for users as a default font).
* Correct attendees are selected when using the "FindBox".
* Fixed "Menu pop-up" after "Attendees" dialog in the "New/Edit Item" dialog.
* Fixed bug that would crash Papyrus when trying to set a category for an entry after using the Date Selector, for OS 9.1 phones.
* When editting an existing calendar entry, changing the start time would update the end time by the difference duration.

Mini Friday v1.11 S60v3 [Sisx]



Mini Friday is a small research project on virtual worlds on mobile phones. We are trying to find out if real-time virtual worlds make sense on mobile devices.

Mini Friday is a very simple virtual world - one small bar for now.
The service is not actively moderated and you may be exposed to mature chat dialog. Please remember that people may not be who they claim to be. So if you plan to meet someone IRL, be careful and take a friend with you.

We haven't been able to test the application on all phones, so please drop us email (minifriday (at) sulake (dot) com) if you find that the application doesn't work on one of the above models. We are planning to expand the range of supported S60 devices in the future.

Please note that Mini Friday itself is free, but uses Internet data and you will be charged for data traffic in accordance with your agreement with your operator. For active use, we recommend a fixed-rate data plan.

The SMS Diary application


The SMS diary application reads all your SMS messages in your phone (but do not delete them, of course) and creates a diary out of them. The diary that will be created consists of two web pages; one page with a table of contents and statistics (statistics on how many messages you have sent etc) and the other page contains all your messages, formatted in a nice way. The web pages are saved on the internal memory of your phone. After the diary has been created you can transfer the web-pages to your pc and store them for future use.

SMS Diary currently supports the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Dutch, Simplified Chinese and Belarusian.

Python v1.3.19 S60v3



This release features significant performance improvement on 3rd edition as well as bug fixes including a fix to the old problem of the last line in a Text widget not being visible.
New features :

* Sms can be send with different encoding by giving '8bit', '7bit', or 'USC2'
as third parameter to the messaging.sms_send. This works only in pre 3 ed.
devices.

Corrected defects:

1463647: Bottom part of last text row in Text widget is invisible.

1636644: View finder bug with emulator

1665017: repeating events from monthly_instances have wrong datetime

1671691: crash when default_access_point is set and data conn. drops

1638475: Failing improt gives an incorrect error message

Python for S60 brings the power and productivity of the Python programming language to the S60v3 platform. The tools enable rapid application development and prototyping, and the ability to create stand-alone S60v3 applications written in Python.
The device installation package includes the Python interpreter (based on Python 2.2.2), select Python Standard Libraries, a script shell for launching Python scripts, a variety of native extensions, and a Python Console for interactive development. Python for S60v3 can also be added to S60v3 SDK's for PC-based development, testing, and creating application installers.
