Checkers 1.02 for Nokia 5800 ​

Moubail.com is happy to announce Checkers - a widget based game for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia N97. Inspired by Dr Jukka’s collection of widgets I decided to try and make my own. I chose to port a game of Checkers for Nokia Touch phones. A simple but pretty game - built with nothing but HTML, CSS and Javascript. The original game code (the AI) can be found here and it was made by Kurt Grigg (info in the game falsely states Jaap Scherphuis - will be corrected in the next version). I am releasing this hoping to inspire others to try and make their own widgets and hopefully release them through moubail.com.

The game supports both Portrait and Horizontal modes and works pretty well. Information about the original code is found in the game. If there will be any updates to the game a new version will be published right here at moubail.com.

Originally the N95 version, but has been resized for the 5800 XM. Working perfectly except for typing your name at the start of the game...(just go with the default name.....for now).

Also from the suite settings in the App manager, select "display navigation keys" only for the best experience.
